We are a community dedicated to giving books a second chance. We collect donated books and help them find new homes while supporting book circulation in the Boston area.

Accepted Books:

• All Hardcover and All paperback books
• Children’s books
• Textbooks and school books
• Audiobooks (CD or digital)
• Educational CDs and DVDs

Not Accepted:

• Torn, water-damaged, moldy books, and damaged or non-working CDs/DVDs.

Note: Feel free to donate whatever you’d like — we inspect every item that comes in.

You can drop off your books at our donation points around Boston and surrounding areas (Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, etc.).

Yes, we offer pick-up service for large donations (usually 3+ boxes or more than 100 books).

To request a pick-up, please contact us via email or phone with your location, estimated number of books.

If you’d like to place a donation box at your workplace, café, school, library, apartment building, or community center, please contact us.

We provide free donation boxes for suitable locations and regularly empty and maintain them.

Donated books are given a second life. They may be donated to schools, libraries, community centers, and families in need. To ensure the sustainability of the project, some books are sold at affordable prices. Books that are in poor condition are responsibly recycled. Through this cycle, we increase access to books in our community while protecting the environment.
